SPACIAL TRASH

Will there come a time when people see through the reality they choose to live in? Technology is increasingly adapting to each user and their needs. Does this distance us from ourselves? How long has it been since we stopped thinking?

The three-hour performance by Marcos Nacar and Núria Frías explores the reality of two people who live their present virtually—a reality they have chosen themselves. They spend their day through a virtual reality headset, and the only way to break free is by recalling words and written texts, repeated aloud like a mantra. As if it were a prayer. Or as if they were praying.
